Who is Kurtis McCartney

A lifelong resident of Niagara Centre, Kurtis McCartney is a graduate of Brock University, and has worked in insurance, marketing, programming, and as an instructor. Their considerable community involvement includes volunteering with several local organizations, as a board member and fundraiser, as well as working on political campaigns at the municipal, provincial, and federal level.

Electing Kurtis, and the Green Party of Canada, to Niagara Centre would generate progress on the issues
that matter most to you:

• Addressing the Housing Crisis. Access to safe, affordable housing is a human right.

• The Climate Emergency. The Green Party of Canada is the only party to recognize that we must take immediate action to lower to lower GHG emissions by 60% by 2030 to avoid the worst extremes of climate change.

• Mental Health Care. Establish a national mental health strategy focusing on addiction, disability, and LGBTQIA.

• Guaranteed Liveable Income and a transition to the new green economy.
